Blocked Phone Call- Possible Win?

Options
Hello lovelies!

I'm fairly new to comping so I don't really understand all the procedures but I got a phone call from a blocked number on my iphone 4 today, despite having never blocked anyone from it, but didn't answer as I was a bit suspicious.
I'm now really worried that I may have potentially won something but because I didn't answer the call, will loose out. I have no way of seeing or contacting whoever it was back either because it was blocked. Hopefully it was just some pesky sales company of something though.

What do you guys think? Thanks for any answers in advance.

It could just be a marketing call and most companies will call more than once if it's a win. Good luck :)

Loose means not tight or free from constraint.

To lose means to fail to: (1) keep (2) win or (3) make money.

Blocked on your US made phone. probably means the caller did not want to reveal their number. (caller withheld) not that your phone blocked the number.

As sophie27x said, most likely marketing.

When you see 'Blocked' it means the caller has blocked their number - not that you have done anything. You'll get loads of them, just let voicemail take the strain - it was more likely to be someone selling you something!
  • Yeah I suspect you're correct about it being a marketing call guys. I guess there's just always that part of you that wants to believe that you might have got lucky despite the odds!
Thanks a lot for your help and time nevertheless :)
