I have schizophrenia and was medically retired two years ago I am 44 I have about £10000 in my pension at the moment I get £361 a year in one payment. Could you please tell me if I am able to take this as a cash lump sum I spoke to Sun life of Canada today and they said I wouldn't be able too. Can anyone please give me some advice

What type of pension is it? Defined benefit, or defined contribution?
If it is defined contribution, have you already purchased an annuity?
These factors will affect what you can do with it.0 -
I'm not sure I worked for Citibank and they paid into my pension. I have an annuity that was taken out two years ago. Thank u for replying0

Actually my pension provider is Sun life financial of Canada is it the same company as Canada life ?0
