Hi, just wanted a bit of advice. My daughter(8) is going to a party this weekend (her friend is going to be 9). I dont really know what to get her. I know she likes bratz. I was kinda thinking to get her the bratz makeover doll where you can put on the makeup, nail polish etc.. its aged 6+ . I know my daughter would love to recieve something like this shes really girly (so is her friend in fact), but its really hard to buy for somone elses child. Do you think shes too old for this? When my daughter asks for things like eg. a McDonalds playset(seriously) i say to her "dont you think you're a bit old for that?" To which she laughs and replies "no!"

Hi my daughter is 8. Hannah Montana is also good. Top trumps are back in. Girly things from Claires stores are considered cool presents ie shoulder bags, bangles etc or cool smellies like groovy chick. You can also get nice sets with nail varnish in most supermarkets. Or how about a crocs wristband and a couple of jibbitz.0
