A couple of questions about these pension changes

If anyone could advise I'd be grateful:o
I have a LGPS final salary pension and a separate SIPP. I assume even though I have a final salary pension I can still take advantage of these changes ie accessing my SIPP?
I'm saving hard in ISA's to retire early aged 55-6. I'll use the ISA's for income for a few years until I can access my LGPS pension. As income from ISA's is tax free.... can I now use draw down from my SIPP to boost my income and will avoid paying tax on the drawdown at all so long as my income from the SIPP is not over £10 500 a year?
My wife has an AVC with Scottish Widows associated with her LGPS pension worth about 50K... can she now access this under the new rules coming in April next year?
Thanks for any advice re. these issues?

Yes your SIPP is distinct from your LGPS pension.
When/if the new proposals are implemented you will be able to drawdown money upto your tax allowance taxfree. However the new proposals are just that, proposals. Nothing is cast in stone yet.
Dont know about LGPS AVCs. In principle I dont see why you shouldnt drawdown from that, but again we dont know for sure what will be implemented.0 -
I might switch your emphasis from the ISAs to the SIPP now that the DD can be flexible.
this would give you access like the ISas, but with Tax relief on top.0
