How to clean the veticle grout in tiles

The horizontal grout is straight forward but the liquid I have just runns down the grout with no effect.
Is there a more solid grout cleaner on the market.

Have you tried pouring into a dish and dipping a toothbrush in it and using that?

I usually just use bleach with a toothbrush.

I make a paste with bleach and bicarb and apply that with a toothbrush to all my grout. Seems to do the job pretty well.

  • The easiest way for me is to pour bleach down the tiles and then run my rubber gloved hand all over it! Then leave it for an hour. Its not good for the gold-effect plughole but it's already wrecked. I then throw jugs of water at the wall to rinse. Lazy and messy, that's me!

I also use a small bowl (easy to hold in my hand) of bleach and a toothbrush.

  • We use an old toothbrush and sink unblocking liquid, which is about twice as strong as anything else and will take a finger off if you're not careful.

We leave it on for about an hour and then rinse.
