Ppi on business loans
Ppi
I'm not sure if I'm legible for ppi. The ppi was the banks recommended by the bank to cover the business loans. They seem to have covered their back with letters stating that they recommend it in case of illness and would not be able to continue.
The bank did say to me that the loans would only be agreed if these policies where taken. They did send me letters of their recommendation and was told to sign. The letters explained why i would need these policies and have sent me information....so I guess I did know what I was signing for, I just thought it was compulsory.
Do I have a case?

So far, you have given no reasons for complaint.
1 - business PPI is geared to be suitable for self employed/directors.
2 - banks are allowed to insist on insurance if you borrow money. The issue is if they lie about it (i.e. say you need it when you dont).
So unless you have any other reasons, it is hard to see anything wrong so far.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
