  • I use expense tracking app from Replicon for keeping track of my expenses and spending. Upon using this particular tool I have got tremendous control on my spending thus making the best approach of managing the money and reaching the level.

    You don't just track your expenses but you plan your budget for all the different categories of spending as well. Its a virtual envelope budgeting system.

    It synchs with your smart phones (both yours and hubby's) so whenever you are planning to spend anything you can check you have enough in that category.

    Occassionally its on offer on Steam for much less but I'd have paid 3x what I did.

    Best thing I ever did was get YNAB too-I got it free-if you participate in the online webinars(last an hour each) you have the chance to win a free copy of YNAB and the trial version is valid for 34 days(full copy).You can participate in the webinars as many times as you like and increase your chances of getting it.It's also currently free for students so if you try it and like it if you know student they can get the code for you.
