How many emails?

How many emails per day that are competition related do you get?

On Friday I cleared my emails and at the last check today I had 1500+ emails (90% of those are competition related)

So I reckon I get 300+ per day, now I am not whinging I tick everything on the comps so I get newsletters from every man and his dog if they look interesting I have a scan through them if not they take less than a second to delete.

I never click click click through and delete them all, it would be my luck to delete a WEM :eek:

Maybe I just need to clear them out more than once a week :rotfl:

Weekly!!!!

I do daily, in fact, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday's it's 2-3 times a day.

About 30 to 60 daily

If I don't keep on top they can get overwhelming



I prefer Hotmail/Outlook as easier to navigate (bar recent outages)


Tried comping with Gmail but can't get on with it.

OK, so I am a lazy bugga :rotfl:

I scan through them several times a day, and check more carefully when I delete them usually when I have 1000+ :O

Several times I have found WEMs days after they have been sent

B- Must try harder

I check inbox and delete box for any potential WEM's.


Double check some with message source.

I cleared out mine last weekend and I had 10000+ since 1st March when I last cleared them :eek: I don't have time to do it too often ...

i get about the same as OP & after once needing a 3hrs long deleting session I now delete as I go along

I archive everything after scanning through, means if i need to look something up it's too hand. I have approx 400+ a day and archive every hour or so I'm on the net.
I swipe all wins straight into a comps win folder so don't lose anything.

When I go on hols it's awful trying to sort through it all.
