Our's is looking to be about a month too. Completed application via broker to Natwest on 23rd, all docs sent in on 24th by broker.
Valuation survey has happened. Got broker to check progress start of this week and have also been told should hear outcome of offer today. So keeping fingers crossed!Total money owed: [STRIKE]31/07/11- £17,877[/STRIKE], LBM - 14/10/12 :j, 01/06/13 - £0 DEBT FREE!!!!
New challenge- save an extra £5000 from non-salary -£1600 (32%)0 -
I was exactly the same wanting to know how long it would take, I'm with Natwest too. There are a few of us posting timelines for Natwest in the awaiting mortgage decision thread.
My application went in on 22nd February, and I should hear a decision on the final offer tomorrow. So if valuation is OK, then the mortgage gets offered that's just under 4 weeks for me. However I did have to wait a week for the valuation after it was booked.
Have you had a decision yet? Fingers crossed for you!0 -

Yup mortgage offered today :T
My mortgage adviser said they are working on a 5 day backlog, I got offered today after being told the decision would be end of business Thursday.
Good luck with your application :beer:0 -
I applied 3 weeks ago, docs etc
Was informed today that the underwriting is ok and the valuation is booked!0 -
We had a MIP on the 30th November, full application done on the 12th December by telephone, documents all sent in on the 20th December. We finally received our full offer on the 23rd January, which was down to being in touch with a manager, otherwise it would have dragged on even longer. There was a huge backlog at the time, and it seemed to be a case of the left hand not knowing what the right was doing, but we got there in the end and have been in our new home for a week now.
Good luck to anyone applying at the moment, from my experience their communication isn't the best, so if you think the application is dragging on then give them a ring to make sure they have everything they need-they wanted clarification of a few things from us during the five weeks it took them to make a decision, but didn't get in touch with us at all, it was only because I rang up to make sure everything was ok that I found out they wanted certain bits of info.0 -
Spoke with mortgage advisor and they advised Natwest have a 4-5 day backlog. I bet the new MMR hasn't helped as people were trying to get in before this came into effect on Friday night0
