Hi all,
I'm new to this and was wondering, when you enter a comp through facebook how much info is passed on to the company. I don't fancy letting everyone on my friends list get spammed just because I entered a comp.

You nearly always have to 'share publicly' and many of them will post to your friends, there are ways around this what some people use, im sure someone can give you more info here.
You could enter just as many NON-FB comps as you could FB ONLY COMPS so if youre worried dont enter too many on fb, i do that.

If you are entering through an app it should tell you what information it will have access to (DoB, Friends list, Likes etc) and if it wants to post on your behalf it should also ask.
If you are entering just by liking it gives them no more information than the public can already see based on the privacy settings you have set up.
