I set up a new, different ID with a different e-mail address, and I've been trying since then to search for the previous user name and/or the posts I created, and all I get is either a spinning 'wait' icon on the browser, or a 504 failure (Gateway time out)....

That 504 timeout is one of the gremlins which frequently run rampage through the site and nothing that you've done wrong. If you find you still can't locate your original user name or if the new one you've chosen doesn't work, I've found Bubblews Admin respond much better if they are sent a private message on their Facebook page. It doesn't always work, but is more likely to than trying to contact them via other methods.

When I first joined the site well over 18 months ago, I found my user name wouldn't work either. I can't quite remember the details, but I bludgeoned Bubblews Admin with messages via email and they eventually got back to me, suggesting I try to log into my account again. I did and it worked. Maybe they tweaked something their end without telling me?

The new ID seems to be working OK now. I would imagine the best time to access this site is when the USA is sleeping, so it seems more stable at the moment (teatime Sunday)

Using the new ID, searching for either the old ID or unique keywords from the posts I made returns zilch, so it looks like everything's been zapped.

I know of at least 10 people now who've been paid fine, numerous times.

Seems to me those not getting paid are breaking the rules (not listing copyright credit is one I think, plus 400+ character posts only etc), so as long as you stick to the rules you should be fine.

I will post if/when I hit cashout and if/when I get it

I've made a few 'friends' to...you really have to start on a like for like basis so people are more inclined to help you out, content helps to - more to get commets then anything, you'll find people like anything but if you have a catchy picture / content people will more likey to get involved with it.

My first $51 cleared in Paypal on Wednesday. I redeemed the previous Wednesday.

I am waiting for my next $50, which I redeemed (requested) yesterday.

It does work, it does pay out.

I've dipped my toe in the bubbles whilst waiting for dooyoo to come back. It is a bit strange and chaotic - it seems to only be worth posting in categories starting with the letters A-G as the other ones aren't displayed!

It's also a little tricky finding posts that are written in decent English - some of them are so bad I can't understand what they're saying although I've come across a few big exceptions (who may be on this forum).

Very interesting though...

I find I get more responses from the "Food" section, which is also the bit I find it easier to find stuff I want to read in.

I agree, bad English really puts me off, which would probably explain why I've only "followed" a handful of people, at least 3 of whom are from this thread XD
