Raw honey and coconut oil

Hi all,

Not sure if this is the right place to post! I'm going to go through the shops tomorrow but wondering if anyone has bought these online?

I'm making a few changes to my diet, going more raw, organic etc... I'm having a hard time finding the most money saving places to buy both raw honey and organic virgin coconut oil. Anyone buy these online and have any suggestions?

Many thanks :)

I haven't looked for raw honey but last time I looked for coconut oil the cheapest I found (via a Google search) was on ebay. Amazon might be a place to search as well.
  • I got my coconut oil in holland and Barrett. It was expensive at £16 but I got a second one for a penny. Raw organic honey I have found hard to find but I have now started buying local honey from a nearby farm.

  • Acing a look on Amazon and so far it doesn't seem to be beating holland and Barrett's sale. Will have a look on eBay Seakey, thank you I hadn't eve thought to look there! I'm going to see if there's any local raw honey for sale in town I think, apparently it can help with allergies too from local plants!

Go to your nearest Asian food shop, they'll almost definitely have coconut oil there. I bought a bottle from mine for £1.99, use it every day on my face before bed and it has so far lasted me four months!

I have just paid £1.50 for a 500ml jar of coconut oil(reduced from £2.25) from Tesco (Goodmayes in Eastern London)

The cheap KTC coconut oil from Tesco isn't going to be virgin organic oil, but they have started doing it as I spotted it on their website the other day

Although this is an old thread, I'll add my two-pennyworth. ;)

I looked for the KTC coconut oil in Tesco (after seeing it on their website) but they didn't have it.

However, they did have a different brand at £6 for 500 ml and their own make - organic virgin coconut oil (cold pressed which I understand from my research is the best) at £5 for 500ml.

I found this which is pretty interesting:

It has some very interesting non-food uses.
