Wait to be made bankrupt?

I suggest that you go to your local CAB and ask about help with bankruptcy fees. There are charities that will help. Some of these are the big trust funds attached to the large utility companies such as British Gas. Some are dependent on your current and any former careers. Some are just local to your area.
There is no point in sitting and waiting for HMRC to make you bankrupt because they may well not.0 -
Hmm, I'm not sure that HMRC will bother if there's no property/large assets?
Even when they decide to, it's a painfully long and frustrating journey.
If you know it's the way that you have to go I'd be tempted not to rely on them.AD March 2014
