Sending sweets to the USA

Me and a friend want to do a "candy exchange", he lives in the USA and I'm in the UK.
I did the same thing about 6 years ago but can't remember who I used but have a feeling it was via a site like Parcels2Go.
I know that it's fine to send sweets etc as a gift and with all the forum users here I'm pretty sure at least a handful of you have also done this so was hoping you could tell me who the cheapest and best courier is that you've used.

depending on how much your sending then the royal mail is the best i reckon , everything i sent to the US is thru them and never had a problem"If I know I'm going crazy, I must not be insane"0

You know if you have a google there are lots of places selling American candy based in the UK. Also a great range on Amazon and eBay sellers also offer some.0

I regularly send stuff to friends in the US (mostly sweets and chocolate - my friend has a serious Curly-Wurly habit) and Royal mail are extortionate for sending parcels across the pond and take way too long.
I use https://www.ipostparcels.com and have found them to be brilliant. The last parcel I sent Royal Mail wanted £35 to take 7-10 days to deliver. ipost parcels collected it from my house and delivered it 2 days later for £16. I was amazed at how quick they were.
And since the first time I used them they send me a discount voucher every month to use. I'm very impressed with them. You had me at your proper use of "you're".0 -
