Good veggie things to batch cook and freeze ?

    Be careful with soups. Lentil based soups freeze really well but potato based always taste a bit funny to me.

    Soups freeze better if they're blended first, easily done when the soups are veggie.

    great, thanks for all your replies.
    Am going to do:
    chilli
    cobbler thingy with dumplings
    lasagne
    pizza bases (we do these already but an excellent reminder ta)
    cottage pie
    pasta bake

    The kids should eat all of those. If I make enough for 4 nights dinner from each, thats 24 nights, plus I already have 8 nights' worth frozen, and intersperse with easy stuff like jacket spuds and omelettes and pasta and of course sausage and mash, then that should be at least the first 6 weeks month sorted without too much thought. That should see us through the worst of the sleep deprivation :eek:
