Ikano?

I wonder if anyone can help please. We received a letter recently, addressed my step-daughter, in her name, but our address, from a company called Ikano. The letter basically said she was due £197 on a storecard and the debt had been passed to a company called Lowell.
To cut a long story short, my S-D has an abysmal credit record, and has had for many years. If she ever had a storecard, and she swears she can't remember having one, then it must have been a good few years ago. Prior to this letter, there has been no correspondence whatsoever from either company to our address.
What my question to you guys is....do you think this is a fishing exercise on behalf of the debt collector to find out if they have the correct person? And if so, what do we do?
