Mums entitlement to Dads pension???

Hi I'm after some advice?
My mum and dad are in a quite complex situation, they have a complete communication breakdown and my mum is really struggling for money, she is not due her state pension for another 2 month, whereas my Dad is already on his pension, he has state pension plus a pension for previous employment. My mum is only entitled to state as she is a full time carer for her son, she gets a carers allowance but this is only £50 a week, so barely covers her car and mobile.
We are trying to help her find out what shes entitled to, and wondered if she had any legal rights to Dads pension. They are married....!

I should add we think my dad is getting close to 1k a month0

She should get half. But other things would be split as well such as their savings (whose name are they in?) and the property.
Have either of them seen a solicitor? Mediation? Filed any papers for divorce
Where is your dad living? Is your mum in the marital home?0 -
While they are married, she doesn't have any legal rights to his pension.
However, being in a relationship and keeping your partner short of money is now seen as a form of abuse.
She could contact https://www.womensaid.org.uk/domestic-violence-articles.asp?section=00010001002200410001&itemid=1272&itemTitle=What+is+domestic+violence and discuss her options with them.0 -

It depends whether they are still a couple.0 -
Hi, yes an odd situation but they are still together, and yes its also his son! So I presume entitlement would only be there if she were to divorce him? FYI she's 62 and he's 710
