Hi Everyone
Thanks Ziggy for starting the thread, hope you are ok, sounds like you are on the mend.
Snap Ikesmummy, worked a lot so no online time.
Determined - How exciting, have fun at the gig, & vicariously enjoying your holiday count down
Soopa - Im with you on that one, why do sports centres do that? Totally crap isnt it.
Emmi - Nice one on your dw tabs, useful freebie there.
Good Advice - Ha ha I'll wonder if its you in front of me at Boots next time Im in a super long queue
Yorpington - Yuck how awful. I live in fear of cutting myself on a razor, dont know why, its just one of those things I always think of when putting the saftey lid back on. Hope you mend quickly.
Littlepinkstar - New born twins how lovely. Good luck with your exam.
Foxgloves - You can use gone off milk in scones as well so long as its not rancid. Im sure you probably already know that though?
Me today.
1) Went to see a mortgage advisor about a remortgage. Its frustrating that although an estate agent has valued us up, we are expected to pay £300 odd quid to the bank so they can do the same. However, the saving would be around £200-£300 per month as we havent remortgaged for ages, so it sort of feels like a necessary evil. Does anyone have any useful stories about remortgaging for free?? Hopeful face
2) Planned dinner tonight - Mackrel stirfry with egg noodles, planned tommorows tea as well.
3) Checked banking
4) Went to join a new doctors surgery, we have lived in our new place 2 years last month & had been coping by keeping our mail redirect in place. When the letter came saying it was another £40 to renew the direct I had to question the expense and my sanity, so enoughs enough, we have moved. Officially now. I know it might be dubious taking up GP places out of postcode, but in London I've had several bad GPs and have been so happy with ours it seemed like a good idea to stay registered there, just didnt think we'd hang on so long.
Think thats it for me. Am looking into ebaying a large electronic hand roll dispensor I bought in my stupid first phase of business excitment. Cost around £100 brand new, takes stupidly expensive batteries, goes through them like the clappers oh & gets the huge expensive hand roll stuck in it all the time. Now we supply clean towels. Anyway I want to sell it as its taking up house room. Not too hopeful as who'd want it, but hey...
Bye for now.

Nice one. I came home to a cheque for £75 which is a refund on our car tax as car no longer with us. However, that will just about cover the £77 cancellation fee our insurer are charging us for cancelling our policy (as we no longer have a car:mad:) the mind boggles.
Although I did also see that I am getting £79 from GreasyPalm this month for moving another insurance. So ner to the win some lose some gods.:T" Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Hope everyone is well. It's been a while, and I've fallen off so many radars at the moment, I have managed not to spend the money that has now 'appeared' on my CC's.
And, today was a REALLY bad day, and I was going to buy Pizza from Pizza Hut! I managed to push through the urge and had turkey burgers and veggies instead.0 -

Wow Foxgloves I am super impressed at yours and Mr F's weight loss, that is brilliant!! I am a ww gold member but find I am too hungry to calorie count at the moment so am trying Slimming World as a change (I've probably done all the diets in the past, cabbage soup, slim fast, 5:2, calorie counting, weight watchers etc etc so this I haven't tried!) I will keep you posted
