My son bought this game for his xbox1 when it came out last week and it is constantly freezing up.
We have good a internet speed and other games play well.:)
Has anyone else experienced problems?
Is there a work round?

Try doing a full power cycle on the xbox, turn it off then unplug the power for 20 seconds and plug it back in and try it.0

I heard there were all sorts of issues with the launch. It was renamed TitanFAIL.0

Try power-cycling the console like suggested. You could also try reinstalling the game again, but don't be surprised if this doesn't fix the issue. Xbox One has its problems and Titanfall has had issues since release.0

Thanks for your reply Gary.
My son power cycled the console and reinstalled the game but it still freezes.
He's tweeted the game maker and has had a reply but not had time to try whatever they suggested...I'll post it on here if it works for him
What other issues does the Xbox One have?0 -
Bear in mind it's an EA game, and they're not great at fixing issues/customer support.
There's a lot of reports of similar issues on their forums. Is it freezing up online or offline? (Don't own the game, nor care much for FPS, so not sure if offline also)0 -
Unfortunately this seems par for the course with modern gaming. Rush to release a title without fully testing it then use the paying public as beta testers and drip feed patches.0

just like black ops 1 when it was impossible to play when it was launched, and stayed in the same state for about 3 weeks after release and took almost 8 months for them close up glitches in the game.
titanfall in its closed beta PC version had issues and wasn't fixed come time to close the beta so its always an unknown to DEV's how the game will react on an open server.
if the game is freezing up, then there seems to be a client issue.
hunt the titanfall EA forums to see if there is a temporary work around for the xbox1 OP.0 -
EA wouldn't be the ones fixing the game - it is the developer Respawn - and they have already been helping people who have had issues.
They haven't used the release of the game as a public beta because they had a massive public beta before the game was released. Hopefully they will get back to your son, although posting on the official titanfall forums would more likely provide better results than posting on here as there will be people with similar issues.
Hopefully he gets a solution for it as it is easily the best game released on the new consoles by a mile.0 -

it wouldn't call it a rush to release just to disappoint your audience, no game developer or company wants that as that's bad publicity, unfortunately even in open beta testing, when your game goes live, you don't know how it will react on all platforms, there will be issues, but there will be a score of people working on it in the background to collect the data from your server side client, to figure out what the game engine is doing and where the leaks are and what is best to correct the leaks.0 -

Ok, maybe I am being just a bit cynical, but it does seem that way sometimes.0
