Any help would be appreciated...
Debt Managers Services Ltd have contacted me via post 3 times in the past couple of weeks.
The first said they were trying to contact the named person, and through details received from a bank.
However, the named person is using my Middle name and Surname. I have never used my Middle name as my first name.
Also, I have never had any debt whatsoever.
The other two letters referenced money owing to 'Lowell - Shop Direct', one for just over £600, the other for over £700. I have never used 'Lowell - Shop Direct' - or even heard of them for that matter!
It is getting my quite anxious and concerned.
Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks,

Shop Direct are the owners of several catalogues (numberous name changes over the years - Kays, Empire etc etc) and Lowells ia a Debt Collection Agency that Shop Direct use to collect debt.
Have you had a catalogue in days gone by, if not check your credit history to see what is listed in yr name.0 -
Never had a catalogue or bought anything via a catalogue.
Can honestly say I owe no money to anyone.
Also, 'Middname Lastname' is not my name, and I have never gone under that name.
Credit history has no markers.0 -

Ignore them. They are fishing for a target to pin this on. They must provide credible evidence that you are the debtor and to do anything less is 'unfair' under the law. Do not entertain their advances and if they get out of hand, just send them a letter telling them that this constitutes harassment (a criminal offense) and unless they back off, you will be making a complaint to both the OFT and FSA.Debt Free! Long road, but we did it

I'm with FireWyrm on this one. I clicked on the thread thinking 'what are these bottom enders up to now?
I'm of the opinion that any contact merely encourages them. Ignore them and they will move on to someone else with a similar name, or date of birth, or address. Or anyone really.
It's unlikely they would put anything on your credit file but everyone should do a check at least once a year so it's a good time to do your annual check!0 -
I think it's a load of bull to say the they got the information from a bank; ignore them or even better, return to sender.0
