Buying PC games from Cex

Having not bought any PC games for a while now, I've been looking at getting some PC games from Cex's website. I understand that some games use Steam, which mean that they can't be used if they're registered on another user's account (or at least that's how I've understood it).
Does anyone know if Cex sell PC games that can't be used? I know most of their console games may or may not have used DLC codes, but I'd like to know whether they take in Steam-based and other games which are likely to be 'single-user'.
Thanks.

As far as I'm aware CeX won't buy any games that require online activation unless they are sealed. They have certainly rejected games I have tried to sell to them.0

Thanks for your answer da_rule. I've just noticed the (S) after some of the games on their site that need activation - guess it's just down to the staff who take them in to check this."Kids respect landlords. I think it's the keys."0

Do you have a steam account? Unless you're after a specific title steam is a pretty decent platform that regularly has 75% off a selected game title.
Provided you don't want a particular game on release you usually find most of them rotate thru a heavy discount around the 6-8month mark so You end up typically spending £5-£12 a time for games that are probably not much off their £30-£40 full price in cex at times
Also some gems of small independent games on there never get produced other than digital distribution so you'll never find them in shops (and often go for £2-£3). It is a widely used platform for good reasons
always read reviews before buying a game tho as with everything in life some out there are dreadful0 -
PC games also known as computer games are played on a computer and do not have a dedicated gaming console to it. You can either play this online for which you would need an internet connection or download it and play it offline at a time convenient to you.0

Thanks for the replies and for suggesting about looking on Steam - I did have an account there several years ago so will take a look.
I was looking at buying from Cex as I had some leftover gift vouchers and couldn't find anything else of interest there.
Although looking at system requirements of modern games, it looks like I'll have to upgrade my PC first - graphics card capabilities and requirements have moved on somewhat!"Kids respect landlords. I think it's the keys."0 -
Greenmangaming.com is also worth a look for discounted PC games. They are a legitimate company and Steam approved, they provide Steam keys. The latest game I purchased was Elder Scrolls Online which should have retailed at £79.99 however I got it at £56.00.0
