My husband is the sole employee of his limited company and takes a salary and a dividend payment. Will the dividend payment be counted as income if he applies for a personal Loan?

  • My hubby is in the exact same position, except I'm an employee too. When we were opening a Santander account yesterday, we were asked if we took dividends from the company as well as salary, so I imagine that dividends are counted as income.

Thanks for that. It makes sense that it does count as income but wanted to be sure before including it if he applies for a loan.
