Debt Dissolver help

Hi
I've had a plan with The Debt Dissolver for just over a year. Acouple of the recipients sent me mail last month saying they hadn't been paid so I forwarded these to The Debt Dissolver. Then this week, they sent me a letter saying that due to changes in legislation, they will no longer be able to manage my debts and I'll need to pay my creditors myself, attaching a list of the creditors(I have 10, of which 6 have been passed to Moorcroft, Lowell, Wescot, 1st credit & Fredricksons).
Why on earth?

Sounds like they are 'dissolving'. ;) Probably due to the regulators getting tough on these types of firms.

  • you may find that not much has been paid to your creditors over that year if anything at all, best step now is to write to all your creditors...new ones can be sent a prove it letter, if they have bought the debt from orginal creditor then they need the correct paperwork which they need to supply to you before you pay them, any that are with original creditors need to be paid token payments and a letter with income expenditure then contact national debt line or stepchange to set up a new plan...they are free
goal for 2014....i will manage money better ..must resist shopping..............:A

should call them debt busters lol
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

Have they been paying them? Or pocketing the money?

I would start by asking each creditor for a statement of account. That will show how much they have been getting paid.

Say the same time, explain what as happened and tell them you will be making payments directly from now on.
