I feel as though I've had my head in the sand regarding this game, and have only just seen the adverts. It looks good! Has anybody played it yet? What's it like?

The general consensus is to wait till its on sale, I've played it for a little while (1hr) and its annoying clunky is places. I don't know if its just a slow start but it hasn't really kept my interest atm.
Will play a bit more when I get a chance.0 -
Looks ok but reviews have been fairly average, it will probably drop a decent bit in price in a month or so.0

I've got it for the PS4 but I am finishing off Tomb Raider Definitive before playing.0

I'll wait for the price to drop, I'm not that eager. Would appreciate reviews from those of you that have it though.0

I bought it, played it for an hour and half and sold it. I just didn't find it that interesting0

Was it too repetitive for you?0

I got it on PS4 (£33) have played it for a couple of hours so far. The game concept is good, and has some nice touches, but the controls are a little clunky. It hasn't got a hold of me yet, but i will persevere, as there isn't much else available yet! Graphics wise, its more what you would expect from a PS3 game, rather than hope a PS4 game will be0

I have all the earlier Thief games for PC.
I used some of my otherwise useless Tesco vouchers ( I don't go out to dinner, visit theme parks, read crap magazines etc :undecided) to pay for a chunk of this new game, so I'm happy that I paid just £10.50 in real money instead of £28.
Even though I'm a huge Thief fan, I am struggling with some of the new consolised controls on this one and some of the implementations of the new vision.
BUT if, like me, you like sneak-'em-ups and are just happy to have a new Thief game whatever it's problems, then you will find much to like about it. I have spent 5 hours using Master-Customised difficulty (set to as close to the settings for the two original Thiefs as possible) in the first level alone just testing things out and discovering as much as possible.
If you are undecided, then by all means wait for the price to drop.
If you do decide to buy, then turn off as much of the easy hand-holding stuff as you can to get the best play-through for yourself. The whole point is to make it the biggest challenge you can for a Master Thief, not dashing through it missing everything but the bleedin' obvious OK? :cool:0
