Hi looking for some advice.
I've a large bed throw that's 100% cotton that's currently a cream /natural colour but I like to bleach it white or as light as I can.
I've looked at dylons range but there isn't anything like a bleach. Could I just use household bleach in the washing machine ? Or does anyone know any other method or a fabric bleach I could use?
Many thanks

Ace bleach does not take the colour out of material. That is the whole point of it.0 -
I think you'll find bleach will take it back to the material's original colour which may or may not be white but is more likely to be cream/off white!

I'd be tempted to use laundry whiteners to see how pale I could get the cream. It might work it might not but I wouldn't use bleach. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

I would half fill a bath with bleach and cold water and immerse the throw in there overnight. or doing it during the day means you could keep going and making sure its turned often to cover all the material. hth.C.R.A.P.R.O.L.L.Z #7 member N.I splinter-group co-ordinater
