Internal EO1 NICS applications

Has anyone applied for these posts, on HRC? I have filled in the form, and submitted it, but there is no application form with sections to fill in your competences.....Do they do a validation exercise first, and then send you the application form for you to fill in.

There is no longer a detailed form to fill in for these - at any grade. You just complete the HR Connect form and submit then get on with your preparation without a form.

So there is no other form to fill in, seems very strange, surely there is usually a formatted document to fill in.

I was only asking because everyone is asking where is the form that we fill in.

Maybe it's an initiative test, like the aptitude tests for other grades?

It is very strange that I have so called form only with the same people each time. I am only asking a question. I don't have this problem with other forums. It is no skin off my nose either.
I how dare you say I have "form", what is meant by that anyway. Do I do something dreadful. Grow up and get on with some proper advice.

pepper, all you need to do at this point is submit your HR Connect form. Not sure about this particular EO1 competition but generally your line manager will be asked for an assessment (LMA) on your performance against the competence criteria. If that assessment is good enough you'll get an invite to interview.

It will probably take a few months to get to the interview stage as I can't see HR being able to pull together enough interview panels until after the summer. Good luck.

Put them on ignore. It's easy to have a go at randomers on the web. They are just bored. Don't take it personally.

What I mean by "form" is that you pretty much always ask a question on this forum then argue with the people who are generous enough with their time to answer your question. Why ask then question the answer?

I hesitated before answering your question this time because of previous experience of your response to another reply and I clearly should have gone with my gut feeling and moved on. I will know the next time.

I think it is clear who needs to grow up and that ain't me. Good luck with your EO1 Board - I dread to imagine the thread which will ensue if you aren't successful.
