Bridesmaids Dresses

Hello All!

I have now bought my bridesmaids dresses now and I have to think about shoes that match.

This is the dress

20061121_008010400420_LRG.JPG

I am hoping that anyone on MSE can help me out :D

I cant decide on a shoe colour that will match. I hae seen a few sets of shoes the same colour but they are so expensive i.e £40.

Another dilemma I have is the colour theme. Can anyone suggest other colours that match apart from cream? Maybe gold or brown?? I know I should have decided on the colours before but this dress was so much better in colour than any others I chosen previously :o

Could anyone suggest what colour tiara would look nice with this dress too?

Thanks :)

Ooh thats the dress my bridesmaid wore. Its lovely :) My colour theme was gold and ivory and my bridesmaid wore lovely dark gold metallic shoes and they were perfect with it. She got them from next clearance tho so I doubt they would still have them. I got her a bag from marks and spencers for only £5. Heres a link to it

hi not too sure if your dresses are pinkish or brownish, but next have lovely mink shoes that are really cheap- £30 and under.
i got my bridal shoes from next and they were so comfy.

What about gold or light brown sandles, then the bridesmaids will get use out of them afterwards.
Here I go again on my own....

Those shoes are lovely. I think they would go really well colour wise. The dress is a kinda gold colour. Heres a pic of my bridesmaid in the dress. It might help to see the colour better. Its not the best pic but its all I have with me at work.

probably the £25 pair might be the best as they are nice and cheap but look more expensive and also you would be able to get the use out of them after the wedding- they would look lovely with a little black dress!!
you could even try ordering from next (with a free delivery code if possible) and see what they are like colour wise next to the dress.

Shell, These shoes are great!. The open toe ones I think will look great! Thanks for the link. I will try ordering them :D

I have seen a tie that the OH wears for work and that has the colour of the bridesmaid dresses in. It has ivory, light brown and dark brown within it. This will now be my colour theme.

Thanks to you all for your advise :T

Have you thought about having bronze/gold type sandals.

I got a pair from New Look - cheap as chips, fasionable & would look fab with the dress (above).
