Car loan with Santander but wanting to pay off quicker
Ok so I have a loan with Santander for a car. I am paying £99 a month and I have 38 payments left = £3762. I have kept all my payments up to date and can do so that isn't a problem. But I would like to be able to pay the debt off quicker but I can't afford to pay any more a month.
What are my options? 0% credit card?.
I can pay the loan off with no penalties I have already checked.
many thanks
Sarah

How about finding out if you can even use a CC to pay it off then look for a 0% card but then it depends if you could get a 0% card with a limit you need.
Just my take on it.0 -
How are you going to pay it off quicker if you can't pay any more?
It is unlikely you would get a £3.5k credit limit on a 0% card, more in the region of £500-£1000
Even if you did, not all will allow you to withdraw it in cash for free, you normally only get 0% on purchases so you would need one which offers super balance transfers.
Also factor in the 0% would not last forever. If you made minimum payments (1%) plus £25 on a £3.5k balance it would take you over 11 years to repay it.
