Hargreaves Lansdowne flash SIPP offer

Options
Hi,

They are offering over next 24 hours upto £1000 cash when you transfer in from other providers.
Does anyone know how its calculated, I cant see it in the t&cs but I expect its based on a %.
As I have about £40k in old personal pensions it may be worth doing as it may cover a couple of years charges & then could possibly transfer to somewhere cheaper perhaps?

For a pension the size of yours the offer is £ 75.

If you had more than 500k you would get the full £1,000

Seems like an advertising gimmick to me

Hi, yes they've added it to the site now its gone live. £75 is 0.2% so doesnt seem worth the bother...

Oh you rich people! On £2.3k it's less than a fiver.

So, the gain is £75 but the annual charge would be around £160 more than a personal pension.

Yes but just think of all that free sales blurb you get sent with HL!

    Maybe even a free pen.

Bet the PP doesn't give you that.
