Hi
I am hoping to open my own beauty salon in my garage in April. I also will be offering mobile services. Anyone recommend how I can get my name about and the best place to advertise. I do have a business page on FB - any suggestions greatly received.:T

Definitely get in touch with the council - doing it from home needs permission and could land you with a nasty fine if you got caught out.Always overestimating...0

This type of business is different from many home-based business as it uses water directly in connection with its business. Also similar businesses which operate from rented commercial premises and pay all the necessary overheads including water rates are not slow to inform the authorities on the home-worker competition. So you may have to be very careful that you conform to all regulations including enquiring into whether you have to pay water rates.0
