Moving minecraft from laptop to xbox360 ?

Son now has the xbox360 that came with minecraft....he has been playing it on the laptop for the last 9 months and has built up his own little world .....can he move it to the xbox 360 as he has spent money on add ons and he dont want to start over again...Help.

As far as I'm aware there's no function to "transfer" your world I'm afraid.Retired member - fed up with the general tone of the place.0

Aye unfortunately I don't think you can transfer across
IIRC pretty much all the versions of minecraft are slightly different, and I strongly suspect that the 360 version will not have many/any of the mods that tend to make minecraft more fun (as MS tend to want a payment to put anything on the 360, and most of the mods for the PC are free from what I've seen).0 -
If he has spent money on the PC game then just stick to that, can you not sell the xbox version or he could keep both versions in play.0
