The Co-operative food have a half price offer on Tetley Tea. You can get a 160 pack for £2.26. It's on offer until April 1st.

Official MoneySavingExpert insert: The Co-op has confirmed this half-price Tetley tea offer is available in stores nationwide until Tue 1 Apr, subject to availability. The next cheapest we found the 160-bag pack is £3 at Asda. Thanks to 3010 for posting.

    I always get Tetley T-Bags at my local £1 shop. Originally they were 100 for £1, but they reduced the number to 76. This is still cheaper than your quote. I spent £3 this week & got 228 T-Bags. I've been doing this since they opened years ago & saved a packet!:j
