default date

hi went bankrupt july 2009,looking at my credit file everything is marked as settled which is fine and all dates are ok.my problem is mortgage and 2nd mortgage we had was sorted through mortgage rescue so default date for these is 1 year later so wont come off till jul/aug 2016.does anyone know if I can ask for these to be put back a year or do I have to go with it as it was a mortgage rescue thanks

If the defaulted mortgage wasn't eventually a part of the bankruptcy, then default dates on it should be based on when you did default subject to ICO guidelines, rather than anything to do with the bankruptcy date.

thanks for reply.i have another question.my daughter today went to buy a new ford,shes 19 and they have said she might need a guarantor.it would have to be me but br is still on my file for another year.im wondering are the chances slim for them to accept me . thanks
