Solicitors Fee's

I'm getting slightly worried that our buyers are going to pull out we were due to exchange the beginning of this week, I had a call asking if the buyer could come back round the house which is fine but I did ask why the estate agent said this is normal one last look.
It just concerns me that they seems to keep moving the exchange date, we're looking to rent and can't put a deposit down until the exchange takes place, I was just wondering if they did pull out now would I be held responsible for my solicitors fee's even though they went back on their word?

Yes, you are responsible for all your own costs until exchange takes place.
  • I wouldn't take them wanting to look round as a sign they want to pull out. I'd love to go and see our house again. I just don't want to hassle the vendor. Might summon up the courage to ask though:).

But yeah, your expenses are your own. Just like kf you pulled our you wouldn't have to refund their searches, survey, mortgage fees etc etc
  • My hank you both, I think because it's taken so long 5 months and it's so close to being all tied up I'm panicking I just wish I knew for certain I've found a perfect house and have the deposit burning a hole in my pocket but daren't tempt fate
  • Hang in there:). Hope you complete soon
