I quite often buy collectors edition of games, sometimes i hit lucky and they rise in value, sometimes they plummet.
Im debating picking up Titanfall Collectors Edition, my local gaming store's cut off for pre-order is today.
What are your thoughts on how the value for this will turn out?

Probably not going to hold much value as they're probably going to number in the tens of thousands, if anything it'll break even with maybe a small profit.Retired member - fed up with the general tone of the place.0

I never realised quite the size of it until I seen a few pics. It's going for about £250, which as awesome as the set looks if far too much for me.0

There will usually be a short term spike in value with titles like this due to availability issues when the game is launched. Long term is much more difficult to predict, however. Certain titles like Zelda and Kirby games are better bets because they are established and collectible series, but it's always difficult with a new series. Clearly if you keep it sealed the value is more likely to increase in the long term as collectors item, but things are far from certain on that front. You would also obviously have to be the type of person that is happy keeping new items sealed for collectors purposes, otherwise there's not much point. It's certainly a long winded way of doing things solely for profit purposes."MIND IF I USE YOUR PHONE? IF WORD GETS OUT THATI'M MISSING FIVE HUNDRED GIRLS WILL KILL THEMSELVES."0
