Tinned grapefruit

Hi

I have been given 4 large tins of grapefruit segments in juice. Apart from just eating them for breakfast or as a starter has anyone any recipes for them

You can add 1 tin to a tin of Mamade and make some very nice orange and grapefruit marmelade. Crush the segments in your fingers, save the juice and use to make up part of the water needed and proceed according to the back of the Mamade tin, adding the grapefruit flesh with the oranges.

Add some to a fruit salad, or make them the base of one by adding some other chopped fresh fruit...I find tinned grapefruit sweeter than fresh so would find them most acceptable in fruit salad...the one about adding to Mamade is also a good idea, and they will keep for quite a while so don't panic.

thanks all for your replys. I shall try making the marmalade as I love grapefruit marmalade- what a clever idea- you're brilliant!

The fruit salad would be good too-very refreshing.
