Hi
This is my first post on this forum. I am posting as I feel quite excited reading some of the comments. Makes me feel like I am nearly there.
We have a house in Spain which has 39,000 Euros outstanding over 4 years 11 months. This is at a rate of 1.79. We feel the rate is so good that we will keep this running to the end.
We also have a house in the UK which has been valued at £270,000. We have £99,000 outstanding.
Our plan is to pay off £50,000 in August when mortgage is due. We plan on having a mortgage over 5 years for the balance.
Hopefully within 5 years we will be Mortgage free.:T:T:T
What I am hoping now is that if all goes well...as you never know what is round the corner. When my little ones go to Uni or college etc I can help them with their first house, car etc as we all know this costs!!! on the other hand always want them to stand on their own 2 feet as well x
