So we have seen a couple of shops done after 9am that worked, results checked just after 12pm

But shops done before 9am and checked after 1pm didn't work

Not enough results posted to confirm anything but it looks like APG updated sometime between noon and 1pm (as we've seen before) and the fix may well be a retrospective fix 9as we've seen before)

It will be interesting to see what results get posted from now on.....

I think they knew my game! Ordered before midnight when all good, collected 9.30am but wouldnt allow apg input until 1pm after trying all morning - usually with c&c i can get almost immediately. After everyone else from this morning shops I thought mine would be ok.
Looks like a glitch on the glitch, but like fairclaires idea of the fanta trigger. Might be a goer instead of my phantom fanta:D

so strange that fanta orange from my c&c 10 minutes before you bought doesn't even show on my apg :(

Random thought - did they actually scan it? If not it would explain it not showing on the apg :)

Yup, your CC company wouldn't necessarily know it was more than you'd authorised .

The retailer should seek your new approval though (by email, phone, etc) because they should know you had only authroised £50 (unless it is advertised in some way that you may be charged another price on the day and you've agreed to that)

Thanks for your response..( I have changed the amounts slightly) its strange as I placed an order for a lower amount when it arrived I had an invoice for the higher amount..both amounts were pending on c.c now lower amount has come out and the other amount has disappeared from pending ?!.. Confused :)

Eta..also no contact at all from supplier

  • Afternoon :)

    Happy birthday enterprise :bdaycake:

I have a question, if I placed an order for £50 but when it came the priced changed to £150 would your credit card allow this transaction to go through as it is a lot higher than you authorised ? Many thanks in advance if anyone is able to answer :)

YES, it would be charged so if you're near your limit be careful. But out of curiosity why would you think you would be charged a higher price?

Remember, online order prices and SELs can be wrong/changed. They are only 'invitations to treat' and not confirmed until you've paid or received acceptance at that price. An order confirmation is not acceptance.

    Awww thanks.
Lil man is very well thank you, he's curled up on my lap having a snuggle at the mo.
He fell over at school (again) and bit his lip, I think he's feeling sorry for himself. The housework can wait. :D

Some fabulous ideas JB - thank you SO much for taking the time and effort to post all these. I really appreciate it.

... and there's things like glitches, APG shops, PPs, vouchers, MOCs etc, which I deliberately didn't mention, since they are discussed on here in detail, and by people who are much more knowledgeable about such things.

sometimes even paying doesn't secure the order

Some T&Cs say "order confirmed upon dispatch" or "order confirmed on delivery"

It gives retailers the opportunity to refund an order/recall a parcel if they realise an error was made
