Speaking of which, we currently own a tumble drier that mam bought when she was pregnant with me (I'm 30 ) as she had terry towelling nappies bless her.
My Zanussi tumble dryer is 31 in June, and still looks as good as when we bought it. And I had the terry nappies too. I had the matching washer for 17 years and have just bought the third replacement for it.Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.0 -
Have had to quote these 2 posts together as I went from real deep emotion with altojacks post as she hit the nail on the head to how I was feeling and it brought more tears to my eyes at how thoughtful the post was. :A
To then reading jelly's post and smiling by the end of it.

I'm glad I could cheer you up:) at this tough time for you.
btw, the fairground set-up is for a photoshoot for a well-known online national outdoor clothing retailer (think 'yachts') , for its winter 2014 catalogue apparently. (I'm not in the photoshoot ... yet.)

Phone shops always seem confused by people who only want a phone to make calls. Anyone would think they're not designed to :rotfl:Historic Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!

One year it took us 7 hours to get there on his bike, in horrible cold damp weather, so I wasn't best pleased to find a skanky old pair of pants under one of the beds when we arrived  :eek:Once found a very nice Hermes scarf!!:jMildred1970 wrote: »Be funny if tiger finds the same pair under her bed this year :rotfl:

Can she take her 3 year olds buggy without it affecting her luggage allowance? They're gonna be having sons mighty long days while they're away and are going to need to put her in her buggy at times
I know they can take it on the plane but I don't know if it would be counted as part of her luggage allowance or not?
TIA
A buggy is not part of a luggae allowance.
very useful to use at airport but if it is a decent one I would wait and buy a cheap one out there and dump on last day. All the major theme parks have buggys to hire which are great. Not normal buggys but quite solid robust plastic things.
Great if you get caught in a storm as have huge canopys over them.
When we had the villa we had a villa buggy someone left us.
Tell here not a problem and make sure she asks for priority boarding as has little one. Do hope she has not bought new wardrobe for holiday as the shopping is fab.
