Hello again:). With apologies to Northern Ireland, I've just been looking at msm and there are some fabulous offers vs Morries, especially if they can be combined with some favourable glitches or two. They are due to go on APG if they get picked up instore but waiting (and waiting) for APG to be updated, so details due to be given on Wednesday. There are also many possible Tvs M; I might post sooner on that as I think they update quicker.

Despite this I haven't seen much indication of any 'deeper' discounts going on due to M's recent loss-making. Overall the offers don't seem much cheaper than usual (for Mr M) offer prices to me.

Instead - this open to Northern Ireland too!:j - Savoy Cabbage due to be vs T at 40p. I think we need to wait a day or two more for that to show on APG. Found as I was looking to do a total legit. comp. including the 3 for £1.50 fresh veg. at M and then I saw T was now cheaper still! Also, you can add (in a day or more) the r'back 50p broccoli to Avs T in N Ireland. T on 50p. Both offers due for this week only. Elsewhere, Avs M 49p.

Still saying 6am:(. It's a Monday again. I think it may the new price file. Msm updates to a new price - including new products etc. - roughly monthly. Don't let that worry you - it may or may not mean anything and could be if you shopped today the price file doesn't take effect till tomorrow. Just so you don't get confused, this is entirely separate from the updating of the prices themselves, so it doesn't mean new offers in T will be reflected straight away - still need to wait another day or so in my view.

My DD also had this problem with her vouchers at the weekend, she has been getting the £10 superdrug vouchers via the sun+ in the hope that she could put them towards a new pair of hair straighteners but when she went to buy them, the SA said she could only use 1 £10 voucher per transaction. You can use a £5 one and a £10 one together but not 2 of the same amount.
    crazy!

Just popping in to say, I got some superdrug vouchers with sun+ I used it against a £10 branded gift voucher, the till accepts it when you spend over £10 so I bought that and a chocolate bar, just as I didn't want anything else, maybe sa willing though. :)

Sorry not been on for ages as just can not motivate myself but thought I would see what's happening in the elite ... I just seen this and thought it might help. Hope everyone is ok x

Wondering if anyone has had a butchers at this?

ASDA Butcher's Selection British Beef Braising Steak (400g)£4.00
    vs Morries.

Particularly if with a trigger in the 2 for £7. Would have to be quick as relying on an offer due to expire (according to msm) on 25/3 - says M down from £9.79:eek::rotfl: to £2.49. Also the M product is outside of the 10% weight range going by msm (where it has M's Beef Braising Steak at approx. 320g but may be they found a different weight in store?). Probably a long shot or a possible very very good comparison. Isn't A's fixed weight though and M's variable? In which case it will be N/A unless they have messed up which I wouldn't put past them:D. Or may compare to a different, fixed weight item which is 'more' comparable and at much higher price for M. Anyone with the A product on a womble from yesterday - or today (oops, forgot, can't check that yet:().

I know I am:p (oops didn't see your full stops there, which change the meaning very substantially:D:rotfl:).

Would be great if went with the Ferrero and if they kept comparing the same as before, and if I could get an mbuy trigger on every one of the 7 other items - lots of Morries 'half prices' or 'better' due to go on - on items that have A mbuys. Actually they are on, in M, now - but A.P.G. is tardy.

Oh is that what it's for? I saw this last week but thought we probably had a tray like that and the lazy people in here like their butter in tubs.
........I'm wondering now if butter in blocks (in a butter dish, Ive got one somewhere) would deter knife wiping  I had a rant about that very thing this morning
