That is standard that they only get the enhanced amount for 6 months. Would have thought she'd have been made aware of this when going on mat leave, though.
thanks no one ever told her that in fact, she has since i put it on here found a letter that says she will get £125 a week for 39 weeks so is now waiting to see from her boss what is correct .0 -
For anyone who had the Superdrug vouchers from Sun+ a few weeks ago please note they run out at the end of April, well at least mine do. Good job I noticed as I thought they would be ok for a couple of years.
Also I went in to buy some J Lo Glow perfume thinking I could use two of them but oh no I could only use the one, how strange is that. This perfume is a bargain price at £20 for 100 mls but I wanted to use two of my 4 £10 vouchers for it.
I personally don t think Superdrug is a cheap shop and am having an awful job choosing what to spend them on lol. In the end I bought 5 large jars of coffee and a reduced bag of crisps and used one of the vouchers .
My DD also had this problem with her vouchers at the weekend, she has been getting the £10 superdrug vouchers via the sun+ in the hope that she could put them towards a new pair of hair straighteners but when she went to buy them, the SA said she could only use 1 £10 voucher per transaction. You can use a £5 one and a £10 one together but not 2 of the same amount.
crazy! It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.

I had a £5 Superdrug sent me as a result if a problem with a MOC - it has a 2 year expiry but a year in and I still can't think what to use it on. I was hoping for a good magazine with a freebie or a try me free item but whenever I go in I spend a few pounds but no more.
I check Superdrugs wherever we go in the hope of a clearance section with £5 of stuff I really need.
Its another of those exasperating conundrums - how to spend £5 in Superdrug bearing in mind I probably have a life time supply of toiletries already“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Was that in a teeny Co-op fc???

Sorry not good at posting links but if you go to gov.uk and follow the step by step guide, it will tell you exactly what your daughter is entitled to
From Gov.com
Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP)
SMP for eligible employees can be paid for up to 39 weeks, usually as follows:
the first 6 weeks - 90% of their average weekly earnings (AWE) before tax
the remaining 33 weeks - £136.78 or 90% of their AWE (whichever is lower)
Tax and National Insurance need to be deducted. hth0
