    I don't know if there's a thread on here BUT we always have to buy gifts for the grand-daughter in the US. Have been annoyed when we've found 'just the thing' for her and then got to the payment stage only to find out you can just pay with an American credit card.

    We now stick to :-
    Amazon.com
    Target.com
    JC Penney
    Sears
    K-Mart
    Macys

    There may be more that accept UK cards but those are the main ones we use. Some may only do free postage for over a certain amount. Amazon seems to be the main one we use.
    Have been really annoyed getting through to some like ToysRUs and Walmart - as if money launderers would be buying small amounts of toys! The Americans in the most part are crazy about money laundering and terrorists after 911.

    Don't forget ebay - just add recipients address to ebay account. OR is it also to Paypal account.
