I'm in between you and wirehair. Was raining earlier and now lovely and sunny. Good job as taking dd2 to feed some lambs soon and then off to see my dad as it's his birthday.
Hopefully the sun is heading your way wirehair. :)

Girlfriend has just called me quite upset. She went shopping a few weeks ago, she went into Asda for a few bits then off into town. I usually drive in but she left the car in Asda and decided to walk in (it can be difficult to park sometimes and she's new on the road and isn't completely confident yet).

Anyway, today a fine dropped through the door because she'd parked for more than 2 hours. It was the first time shopping on her own, she's only just started driving and had no idea about any parking rules.. I never thought to tell her.

Thought I'd go through a few pages on here and read about some good APG's, makes me feel better :)
Get over to the parking section of mse (in the motoring bit) and dont pay it. again, DONT PAY IT :D

    * yawn * morning :)

Well what an eventful night..sat here thinking sometimes you just couldn't write what goes on.
Well I ended up with two vomiters anda happy/silly drunk and a front room full of sick, said children are looking very rough this morning. Whilst sorting these children out I sent the soba children to the dining room to play darts while I tried to gain some control.after sorting said drunks out I had to go rescue the top of the dart thing from the puppy's mouth whilst doing this I felt a shearing pain to the top of my head...have you guessed...yes I took a dart to the head  poor child threw the dart rebounded of the metal thing and across the room and hit me..he was mortified

Have spent the morning washing the children's sleeping bags and pillows as I couldn't send them home like that.

Anyway is it bedtime yet ? :rotfl:

I do love having birthday parties (not:()... they get progressively worse as they get older, but for some strange reason we continue to allow them to have them!

  • Morning All, Sorry I've been AWOL, just popping it with an update on my dear Dad. He was sent home from hospital yesterday despite us voicing our worries & concerns. He is still passing 'black tar' through his stoma but they said blood tests now stable. His needs a specialized CT scan & there is going to be quite a wait, will be even longer as an outpatient  At the first sign of his not looking of well, I'll be taking him straight back, even if it is kicking & screaming. So worried about him atm, just got a nagging worry that his cancer had returned  Off to try & catch up on a few jobs, will pop back later. Happy 'glitching' to you all :)

Someone posted on here that they'd done a bird c&c and it hadn't worked because they're receipt on collection was £2. Not sure if anyone replied as not had time to catch up, but they do show as £2 on collection, £3.90 on your order tho.

Thanks for asking about my headache TM- it has gone. An early night did the trick.

Think it was stress related. We might lose one of our episodes as we've had a key contributor drop out. The timeframe is all getting a bit tight and we still need to get a couple more eps signed off for the series.

But it's the weekend so sod thinking about that! I'm gonna make myself some cheese on toast :D

When's your birthday QOC? Hope you're enjoying your first day off. I woke up at 6.30 too and my heart sank, then it leapt as I realised it's Saturday and went back to bed :) Bliss.

Glad your headache has gone :D

It's on Wednesday. Bloody silly day to have a birthday if you ask me :rotfl:

I went back to bed and it was heaven :D:D
