And in some cases the LYB card did turn up and you got a refund, the cards entitle you to a birthday gift in your b'day month!;)

Exact same thing happened to us last week, element went and over loaded the system, electric off half way through cooking dinner
OH used the top oven which we usually use as a grill to finish the chips off - fortunately just doing meatballs in the microwaves

So we have a local company that fix and mend our appliances, rang them at 8 next morning and the chap came out and fitted a new element.

I have a file with the previous bills from mending and fixing oven and washing machine so I knew what the oven type and number was and when the element was replaced last time.

Very glad it wasn't this week with youngest son home, eating non stop, cooking at least 3 times a day :D

Luckily Oh, can repair it, he has just ordered a new part from ebay.

I don t like going in lofts anymore :(

I have a completely empty loft.I don't like going up there either but I have a 3 room cellar.
I told my sister about the surfing so she is stocked up as well.I said maybe we should start taking in washing. Her other half said he will need a warehouse soon:rotfl::rotfl:

Sada had reduced Dove pure compressed 75ml to 38p today so I got a few of these.

I went to sada last night for shampoo but got confused so ended up buying £25 of meat reduced to £4.40 instead.
