Many moons ago I worked for a fleet management company in Swindon, a similar thing happened to a Natwest bank manager, he went in for a puncture and was told he needed 3 new tyres. He had had 4 new ones fitted 2 days earlier
I used to have a copy of the letter he sent to the MD of kwikfit but doubt if I still have it.
 were you living in Swindon, if so where, :)

Misery guts took his car to twatfit for a new tyre after he got a nail in it. They told him the back brakes needed doing and that they were down to 1mm on one side and bare on the other.

He took it to a local garage and although they did need doing, there was no urgency to it and they were nowhere near where twatfit said they were

Bunch of cowboys the lot of em

An ex-boss of mine took his car in to have the brakes done before an MOT. Had the car MOT'd at a relative's garage the next day and was told the same brakes needed sorting. He took it to another KwikFit and they said the brakes needed doing, he showed them the receipt from the other one and they ended up doing the brakes, with him watching every step of the way. Last I heard he was onto trading standards.

Would not touch KwikFit with a double length bargepole.

Me either. The garage that does my car, the guy used to work for Kwik for years ago. Got sick of all the "sales" tactics. Started his own business. Got three branches now and tyre company, great bunch of guys I never feel stupid or robbed,

Used them for 14 years now :)
