Just started catching up and noticed this PP.
Although it will be answered by now I just wanted to answer...yes it's DTD and you should get this too whenever you are overcharged.
Thanks, I looked high and low for the receipt but alas its still playing hide and seek :rotfl:
I am now armed with knowledge for next time.

We operate a Fair Use policy for Tesco Price Promise. The Fair Use policy is implemented to ensure that all customers can continue to use the Tesco Price Promise. The Fair Use policy is set out below.
The maximum Tesco Price Promise voucher that can be issued is £10.
Up to £100 in Tesco Price Promise vouchers can be used by one household in any calendar month. We reserve the right to refuse to accept any Tesco Price Promise vouchers that would exceed this maximum.
That's their reason/excuse, although as ever with any business (not just T) it's unsatisfactory (in my view). I don't see how my (hypothetical) reaching of £100 would affect the ability of other customers to continue to use T PP at all. In fact, if implemented, as they say it is, and doubtless CC use could detect them, all it would ensure is that the claim about "all" customers continuing to use T PP would be technically untrue, as all customers except for me would be able to continue using T PP (that month), in other words *not* "all". All except me wouldn't be "all".:D
With Sainsbobs, I think (last time I looked) they 'reserve the right to limit the number of BM coupons issued to a customer in the course of a day'. I also noted that the BM comp. was only against T and A and that M weren't included because M prices aren't available online. That was S's reason/explanation/excuse last year. Now, M prices are available online, are S going to extend the scheme? Answer: seems to be no. S nows says they don't include M because they don't price match all competitors. That's their reason etc. this time. When the original reason/excuse can't be maintained or claimed, change the reason/excuse to fit:D.:(:mad::mad:0 -
