    I got a pm from one of the mods a while back saying that my password was weak and to change it. So I did :)
    Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

    I got a pm from MSE NAME ? a couple months ago.
    I was dubious of it and pm'd redfox.
    She said she had received a pm too.

    So if its same its not a scam.

    It took me ages though to change my password kept telling me it wasn't suitable. Since I changed password I have difficulty sometimes signing in keeps telling me password WRONG :mad: when it isn't. I have tried to go back to old password and MSE wont let me :(

    There was a mass PM by MSE Andrea (i think) to everyone with a non-secure password. (Too few characters, no mix of lower/upper case, etc). The PM advised changing to something more secure

    Yeah, I got an email saying they now had to be a minimum of 8 letters etc a few weeks ago and to change it.
    Hope is not a strategy.
