Please can I ask what butter is safe to buy in Sada on a
Sada v tosco shop
I want to buy the bog standard for £1 but worried it might compare to toscos £1.49
Or it might be safer to buy it on its own
Specifically butter? Or butter generic, margarine or spread acceptable etc.? I'll have a good look for you if you clarify.;)0 -

I tried the savoy, onions & tomatoes today & it did not compare to the 3 for £1.50. Not sure where I went wrong. I was getting the toms & needed a few onions anyway.
You didn't go wrong, most probably. I thought the mix and match in M was unlikely to be identified in the instore collection (and posted a forewarning about this) - I was going to buy Savoy, Tomatoes and a pack of something or other (can't remember what now) in the 3 for £1.50 in M itself but thought - why need to? I don't need to buy a cabbage just yet, or tomatoes or anything. Saved myself £1.50 by walking back out.:rotfl::rotfl: I might make use of it later - but not being tempted by a good offer.:D0 -
Speaking of M, you'll undoubtedly know that M are saying that, after making a loss, they are cutting prices down to compete with the 'discounters'. Thus, say the headlines, there are "fears" of a price war.
I'm not afraid at all. Bring one on is what I say:D:D. Might make my A shopping cheaper still.0 -

Oh poo I had a mailing bold 75p but having checked it, it expired end of Feb “Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove.
