It is addictive isn't it? I can't believe that I now don't have to pay for shopping!

What a lovely position to be in.
My monthly grocery shopping has dropped dramatically in the last few months (not that it was ever excessive), to £10-£15 a month, and should stay that way for a while yet; I'm still working my way through the M/S stocks, and still have Dr O & McCains vouchers that I haven't used yet.:)

I'm sure this has been discussed many times before, is why more people don't save money like this? I can sort-of see that some people may feel nervous or unsure about some of the APGs/PPs/DTDs etc. Or don't have the time to study and understand some of the more complicated glitches. But the MOCs and vouchers should be do-able for most people, surely?
But I suppose if everyone did it, there would be less opportunities all round.

    [Mini-moan/rant warning.:(]
I've sometimes explained bargains and glitches (which I've gleaned from the Elite, kudos to all here:T) to muggle friends and family, and some have 'got it' and benefitted. And when I see them next they ask me about any new bargains. So I'm happy to keep helping them if I can.
Others, I can tell, just can't be bothered or aren't interested. With one friend, a single mum with young children who doesn't have a lot of money, I try and pass on the mum 'n' baby bargains & glitches (no good for me, no Jelly Tots). One time recently, I'd gone to the trouble of getting some baby-related vouchers and she said "More vouchers?" ... but not in a "Great, more vouchers, thanks!" way, in a "Oh no, not more vouchers!"
So I've decided it's my very-belated New Year's Resolution not to go out of my way to help out anyone who doesn't anything about it.
Or is that a bit mean-spirited?:o

Not mean spirited at all jelly. It's virtually impossible to help someone who isn't prepared to or doesn't want to help themselves, short of doing it for them. The way we shop just isn't for everyone......goodness knows why? :D
