    What about Stephen Donaldson ?

I've read some of The Gap, none of the others though. Actually reminded me I quite enjoyed him, must have a look for a few more of his books on the library sites :D
I am such a dope, light bulb moment, my boss always uses e books, I gave him the actual book, same for xmas I got him Doctor Sleep, both were signed 1st editions, I bet they are just stuck on a bookshelf gathering dust :(
No wonder he has not commented on them :rotfl::rotfl:

I have a few signed first editions "gathering dust", they do get read but they will always be there so he will pick them up when he feels like it :D The only signed first edition I have not actually read (though I have read it, bought a second one to actually read) is Stephen King's Lisey's Story, went up to Oxford Street and queued for several hours to get him to sign it :D I have actually spoken to Stephen King :D

The Thomas Covenant books are good if you like Lord of the Rings stuff. Very different to the Gap.
